{"id":100,"date":"2025-07-14T14:00:31","date_gmt":"2025-07-14T14:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fjallflygarna.se\/web\/?page_id=100"},"modified":"2026-03-16T14:18:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T14:18:10","slug":"information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fjallflygarna.se\/en\/information\/","title":{"rendered":"Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before Your Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>To get the best possible experience, prepare your trip at home by packing and planning carefully:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If possible, weigh passengers, luggage, and any dogs at home to make sure you stay within your booked weight class<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pack in several smaller bags rather than a few large ones<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soft bags and moderately filled backpacks are easiest to fit into the helicopter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not attach items such as sleeping bags, sleeping pads, or shoes to the outside of bags<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid external frame backpacks, as they take up more space<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid large boxes, as they are difficult to load<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boxes must have a lid and should be securely taped, especially drink crates (for example soda or beer cans)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"farligt\">Bring bags for your trash so you can take it back with you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you plan to make a fire, we recommend bringing your own firewood or buying it from us<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please read the information regarding dangerous goods and pack according to the regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dangerous Goods<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Remeber note to print:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fjallflygarna.se\/en\/info\/files\/Farligt%20Gods%20Swe.pdf\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"www.fjallflygarna.se\/info\/files\/Farligt%20Gods%20Swe.pdf\">Swedish checklist<\/a>\u00a0<br><br>Special rules apply to dangerous goods such as matches, fuel, ammunition, and similar items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Petrol and ethanol \u2013 max 25 liters per passenger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flammable fuel for camping stoves \u2013 max 5 liters per passenger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gas cylinders (propane\/butane) \u2013 maximum size 11 kg (P11), max 24 kg per flight. Disposable containers max 0.7 kg gas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alcohol above 24% \u2013 max 5 liters per passenger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flammable paint \u2013 max 5 liters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solvents\/thinners \u2013 max 1 liter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Battery max 12V \/ 100Wh (with battery acid) \u2013 1 battery per flight in secure packaging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safety matches \u2013 6 small boxes (no other types allowed). Must be carried in a pocket close to the body<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explosives \u2013 prohibited unless special permission is granted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boat engines, chainsaws, generators, etc. \u2013 must be emptied of fuel and sealed to avoid leakage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"sakerhet\">Ammunition \u2013 max 5 kg per passenger. This applies to everything from the equipment we use to the flight routes we choose. An important part of our safety work is maintaining clear routines and systematic procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone around the helicopter must stay alert, listen carefully, and follow the instructions given by the pilot or ground staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fjallflygarna.se\/info\/files\/stacks-image-340981f-1200x1196.jpg\" alt=\"Stacks Image 76\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The following safety regulations apply around the helicopter<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Never approach a helicopter without permission from the pilot or ground staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Never walk behind the helicopter \u2013 the tail rotor is extremely dangerous<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The pilot or ground staff open and close all doors \u2013 please do not touch them<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When exiting the helicopter, walk diagonally forward,&nbsp;<strong>never backwards<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The pilot or ground staff load and unload the helicopter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not throw objects such as sleeping bags \u2013 they can be sucked into the rotor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep dogs on a leash, both inside and outside the helicopter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dogs must always sit in the back seat with a person holding them<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The helicopter creates strong wind during takeoff and landing \u2013 secure loose objects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important to Remember:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Always bring bags for your trash so you can take it back with you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not disturb wildlife or reindeer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be aware of dry conditions and possible fire bans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the rules for the area you visit \u2013 nature reserves and national parks have specific regulations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you plan to make a fire, bring your own firewood.
