As our company name suggests, we are highly experienced in flying in mountain environments, with all the special conditions the mountains bring.\n\nAlthough our roots are deeply connected to mountain flying, we have extensive experience flying throughout Sweden. Our pilots have diverse backgrounds and broad expertise.

We place great importance on continuously improving our safety procedures, regularly updating our operational routines and internal training to maintain a high level of flight safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All our helicopters are equipped with Iridium satellite tracking systems for maximum safety and coordination with our operations office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taxi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The mountain regions around Adolfstr\u00f6m and Ammarn\u00e4s offer excellent fishing waters and bird hunting areas. With a helicopter, you can quickly and safely reach remote mountain areas while bringing enough equipment to stay comfortably for longer periods.\n\nOur helicopters are well suited for this type of flight. We also fly hikers who want to start or finish their hikes deep in the wilderness to make the most of their time in the mountains.\n\nIt is also possible to take scenic helicopter tours or day trips combining helicopter flights with hiking.

External Load \/ Lifting Operations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Helicopters are extremely useful when equipment or materials need to be transported in difficult or remote terrain.\n\nAlthough hiring a helicopter involves costs, external load operations are often very efficient and cost-effective. Helicopters are also ideal for lifting materials onto mountain tops, rooftops, and similar locations, functioning both as transport and as an aerial crane.\n\nWhen the helicopter is already on site, it can also be used to transport personnel to and from the area.

Reindeer Herding<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We assist the reindeer herders in their daily work with the reindeer. This work demands special skills and experience of the pilot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wildlife Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

County Administrative Boards, often in cooperation with Sami communities, conduct wildlife management projects. With the vast distances of the mountain region, helicopters are an invaluable tool.\n\nWe perform flights for government agencies as well as research projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Power Line Inspection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We have extensive experience with power line inspections, ranging from small local networks to the major 400 kV national grid, from Norrbotten all the way to Sk\u00e5ne.\n\nOur turbine-powered helicopters offer good comfort and are well suited for this type of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firefighting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Helicopters are invaluable in fighting forest and wildland fires.\n\nUsing a water container suspended beneath the helicopter \u2014 a Bambi Bucket \u2014 water can be collected and dropped directly onto the fire. The helicopter\u2019s strength lies in its ability to collect water from many small lakes, ponds, and rivers and quickly deliver it precisely where it is most needed.\n\nOften water sources can be found just minutes from the fire, allowing for continuous and highly effective water drops.\n\nThe same technique can also be used for building fires, landfill fires, or dust suppression.

We also use Bambi Buckets during controlled forest burns, where the helicopter acts as a safety measure to ensure the fire does not spread uncontrollably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aerial Photography & Film<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our helicopters are well suited for aerial photography and filming. For example, the EC120 has a spacious rear seat and a large sliding door that can be opened during flight, allowing excellent photography opportunities.\n\nIt is a very stable and maneuverable helicopter, capable of steady sideways and backward flight \u2014 something that can be essential during filming or photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
