Fishing
Here you will find everything an angler could wish for — space, freedom, and countless opportunities to explore excellent fishing waters. There are many kilometers of flowing rivers, an eldorado for dedicated fly fishermen, as well as dozens of fish-rich lakes for spinning and ice fishing. The area is home to beautiful mountain fish such as brown trout and Arctic char. This is why many visitors travel to Adolfström — and why many return year after year.

Magnificent Nature
The Laisälven River is one of the main source rivers of the Vindelälven, and the Laisdalen Valley is one of the true gems among Sweden’s river valleys — wilder and more majestic than many others, and perhaps also more untouched.
Deep in the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve, Vindelälven has a limited-access fishing stretch that we can fly you to.
Let a spectacular natural environment frame your fishing experience, often far beyond mobile phone coverage in the upper parts of these valleys.
Freedom
There are many ways to create the perfect fishing holiday, and most of them are possible here in Adolfström. The simplest option requires no special arrangements: stay in one of our cabins. From here it is just a short walk to the Arctic char lake Yraf and several small lakes within hiking distance. This option is perfect for the whole family. But you can also wander freely on your own — with your tent, coffee pot, and mosquito repellent — moving from lake to lake, river to stream, surrounded only by wilderness and the sound of rapids as you fall asleep in the evening.
If you prefer to reach more remote fishing waters, we offer several options throughout the mountain region around Adolfström. In that case, we can fly you and your companions by helicopter over the mountain peaks and straight into the wilderness.
Another unforgettable fishing experience is ice fishing in June. While the snow has melted in the valleys, winter conditions may still remain on high-altitude lakes. Bring sunscreen and sunglasses, as the reflection from the snow can be strong. Mosquito repellent, however, can usually stay at home.
The length of this season varies depending on the spring weather, but fishing opens June 1st.
